Dr. Jim Kraus - "Anatomy of Sport" Jim's diverse background as athletic director, coach, and professional sports general manager, event coordinator, sports administrator, education consultant, and faculty, enables him to give you an inside perspective of the sports world.
His sports administration job history and experience span the globe and include: The University of Oregon, NABC Conventions, NCAA Final Fours , DGI (Sports Association of Denmark), 1996 Olympics, Alabama A&M University, University of Alabama, GM of the Huntsville Fire (professional sports team), Title IX Consultant, YMCA, NAIA National Office and management of major events such as concerts, championship tournaments and professional sports.
Jim has worked in numerous athletic departments from small high schools to large universities, as well as minor league venues and boys and girls clubs. With this experience in multiple departments and situations, his years of sports wisdom are unmatched. |
Rusty Pettit - "Pettit Said It" Rusty is originally from southwestern Pennsylvania and a graduate of Penn St. University with degrees in Agriculture and Theatre. He spent the last 15 years as a professional singer and actor. During which, he had the opportunity to travel the US and the world perfroming in theatres, theme parks, and cruise ships.
However, his love of sports and athletics goes back to his youth when he competed in wrestling, football, baseball and track and field all the way through his high school years. This combined with growing up around the Steel Curtain and Mario Lemieux's back to back cups drove him to follow his dream of being a sports broadcaster. Rusty relocated to the Kansas City area from Sevierville, TN to kickoff his new sports talk program "Pettit Said It", which begins March 1st.
Rusty is also graduate of Sports Management World Wide's Sports Broadcasting Course. He and his wife Kelly reside in Liberty, MO. |

Steve Nash - "Anatomy of Sport" and "FaceOff"
Steve enters his 6th year as a sports talk show host. He has been the host of a weekly ISBN program "Anatomy of Sports", which delves into various aspects of sports with a focus on strategies, tactics and team dynamics. Along with anchoring this program, Steve co-hosts the Missouri Mavericks pregame show, "FaceOff" and has hosted or co-hosted a variety of talk shows including "Football Forum", "Arena Football Unleashed", "Forward Progress", "Royals Progress Report", "Wise Guys", "High School Football Roundup" and contributed to other ISBN programs. He also covers the game day play of the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and provides the color commentary for minor league and local area high school football and basketball.
His career in broadcasting started at the grass roots level in Kansas City, MO when he joined a startup sports broadcasting group on a local radio station. During that time he did a little road work in a variety of cities including Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, Las Vegas and Tulsa, covering sporting events to gain firsthand experience and knowledge of the sports broadcasting industry. Steve's hands on experience includes coverage of the NFL, MLB, CHL, AFL, AF2, minor league baseball, semi-pro football, high school football, and interviews with many interesting personalities within the world of sports.
Steve also works with Sports Management World Wide of Portland, OR, an online sports career training provider that offers numerous programs specially designed to help students get started in or advance their sports career, where he facilitates a weekly broadcast/chat program for students.

Mark "Gravy Train" Graves - "Forward Progress"
Mark graduated from the College of the Ozarks and finished his senior year as an assistant basketball coach on a national tourney qualifying team.
He began his career behind the microphone in December of 2004 by hosting a boxing show entitled "Ringside Radio". During his first year on the program he also broadcasted four fight cards on radio, one of which was also viewed on television.
Mark has been a producer for both sports and business shows and has co-hosted several other sports talk programs on KCXL 1140AM & KCTO 1160AM since 2005.
He resides in Liberty, MO with his wife, son and daughter. |
Susan Shan - ISBN Contributing Sports Writer
Susan Shan, known as the Asian Sensation by her fans, is a rising young female sports writer and social media enthusiast. Since 5 years old, Susan has been an avid sports fan - particularly basketball, football, and baseball. At 16, she had her first one-on-one interviews with Donovan McNabb and Jeff Garcia (thanks to winning a major sports writing competition). Susan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Creative Writing degree.
She then ventured into another world packed with men trash talking, beer, cigars, and cold-hard strategy as she played professional poker. Today, she's returning to her passion, creative sports blogging, and launching her own website.

Nicholas Spiva - "Press Row Central" Nicholas Spiva was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK. He grew up an avid sports fan with favorite sports of college and pro football although he will take the time watch pretty much any sporting event. His favorite teams growing up and now are the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Dallas Cowboys. Nicholas's all time favorite athlete is Barry Sanders and his current favorite athlete is Kevin Durant.

| Frank Sprankle - "Press Row Central "
Frank is the co-host of Press Row Central on the Integrity Sports Broadcasting Network alongside Nicholas Spiva. A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, he also completed the sports broadcasting course from Sports Management Worldwide.
Frank was born on Aug. 6, 1981. He grew-up in the Chicagoland area where he developed a love for sports from an early age, especially from his father who is an avid life-long fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and Bears. While those are two of Frank's favorite teams from his youth, his childhood baseball team of interest was the Cubs (even though he has attended just as many White Sox games, going back to the days of Old Comiskey Park which closed and was demolished after the 1990 season). He also has found memories of watching the Chicago Bulls claim six NBA titles in the 1990s, having witnessed Michael Jordan play in person on the court and even on the diamond. Frank was in attendance with his family on April 7, 1994 at Wrigley Field when the Cubs played the White Sox in an exhibition game (pre-interleague play) that featured Michael Jordan in uniform for the Sox as he took a year and a half off from basketball.
Having served as sports editor of his college newspaper, Frank was honored by the Indiana Collegiate Press Association with a third place award for title "best sports news story" and a first place award by the Associated Collegiate Press at their 2003 conference in Minneapolis. He has also covered Notre Dame and Big Ten football.

Dr. Don Oyao - "Forward Progress"
Don is ISBN's resident sports talk show host on health and fitness, NFL injuries, mechanisms of sporting injuries, rehabilitation (traditional and non-traditional perspectives), prevention of injuries and psychological (traditional and non-traditional approaches to reverse psychological injury patterns.
He is a Sport Scientist, Sports Chiropractor, and Adapted Physical Education Specialist. Five times he has been an Olympic Team Doctor for the Seychelles Olympic Medical Delegation and Nigerian Olympic Medical Delegation and was the Olympic Team Doctor at Seoul 88', Barcelona 92', Lillehammer 94', Atlanta 96', and Sydney 2000'. Don traveled to Bejing China for the 2008 Summer Olympics again as an Olympic Team Doctor.
Don is an accomplished world traveler having visited well over 100 countries. Don has lived in Australia for 18 years, Singapore for one year, two years in India, and one year in Japan.
Don's educational accomplishments inclue a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University-School of Chiropractic, a Double BA degrees - Philosophy and Sociology, Double MA degrees - Philosophy and Sports Science, Community College Credential - Adapted Physical Education, Raw Food Gourmet Chef Certification, Naturopathic Diploma, NSW Australia AA degree , and Spanish Certification.
Presently, he resides in Benicia, California where, besides his broadcast endeavors, he also works as the chiropractor/health care consultant to the Heavy Metal Rock Band 'Metallica and accompanies the band on their world tours. |
