Our Story
Integrity Sports Broadcasting Network is an evolving sports broadcasting media group based in Kansas City, Missouri. Our programming is currently aired on KCXL 1140AM - 102.9FM and streamed on the Internet. Since our beginning, when the first seed of ISBN was unwittingly planted in the form of a light one-hour sports talk show that aired Sunday evenings on KCXL, we have been steadily striving to expand and improve upon our coverage of sports.
Today, our programming touches on both the local and national sports scenes with show topics and coverage ranging from baseball to golf, football to soccer, basketball to hockey, boxing to mixed martial arts and professional sports to high school athletics. It offers a fresh new look at every sport with an investigative approach to all facets of the game and/or competition.
Our on air personalities enjoy entertaining, informing and educating the most passionate sports enthusiasts about the sports, teams, players, coaches, and GM's they love, love to hate or just want to know more about. We work hard to take our listeners to places they can't go or have never been, provide insight they haven't considered and get answers to the hard questions they want addressed.
ISBN goes all-out to appeal to a diversified group of sports enthusiasts, from the casually curious fan to the well-informed connoisseur of sports, with broadcasts targeted to very active males and females with semi-professional to professional careers, families and disposable incomes.
Our Game Plan
Over the course of the last century the advancement of communications has been one of the most influential changing forces in our time that has affected all areas of our individual and collective lives. This rapigly growing and vast network of human interaction will be even more so as we step into the future.
Moving forward, it is important to acknowlege that the advancement in communications can enlighten minds, convey powerful ideas, educate, and enable while laying a solid foundation for economic growth and human development. Conversely, it can also distort minds, dumb down the exchange of ideas, impede dialogue, and unbalance both economic and human development. The decisions we make and the actions we take, as members of the sports media and as fans, will have a direct impact on which path we move down within the world of sports.
With this in mind, the ISBN is committed to covering the world of competitive sports with a focus on ethics, values and morals. Regardless of whether the sport has global, national, regional or local appeal and covers professional, semi-professional, collegiate, or high school events, our desire is to deliver to each and every listener an authentic fact-based program that extends beyond the sensationalized coverage or broadcast of athletic competition to include the exploration into the overall character of the game and its participants. Our developing network of sports broadcasters, reporters, and correspondents will be encouraged to build positive character based relationships within the sports leagues we cover and the communities we touch.
We strive to give all of our listeners an opportunity to enjoy the world of sports without fear of being inappropriately subjected to any questionable elements of sports. We intend to accomplish this objective is by expanding and solidifying our core broadcast group through the development of a community of high-integrity, well-informed, independent correspondents, reporters and staff who possess a desire to bring sports and ethics together.
